Video Production Services in Abilene, TX

Every project starts with a story. We figure out the best way to tell it.

Corporate video, brand films, and documentary work for businesses and nonprofits

Two disciplines. One standard of craft.

Video production is an investment into yourself and your business — so we treat it like one. ReelView Productions works in two worlds most companies keep separate: filmmaking on one side, commercial production on the other. The same eye serves both, and that's the whole point.

Filmmaking

We believe every person and every organization has a story worth telling. Through narratives and documentaries, we're honored to help bring those stories to life. Filmmaking is not just about selling something, it's about capturing moments, journeys, and experiences in a way that connects people and leaves a lasting impact. Stories aren't just important; they're what bring us together.

Commercial Production

Commercial production is all about telling your brand's story in a clear, compelling way that drives results. Whether it's a promo, an explainer, or an ad, we focus on creating videos that showcase what you do and why it matters — helping you connect with your audience, build trust, and grow your business. Our goal is to deliver polished, professional content that makes your message stand out and inspires action.

ReelView - Video Production services

Why Choose ReelView Productions

Here's the difference: we came up as a film production company, where every frame has to earn its place — and we bring that same eye to everything, whether it's a feature or a 30-second promo. You get a filmmaker's judgment on your business video, not just someone who shows up and shoots.
And the pricing is honest to match: no cookie-cutter packages, no padded scope — just what the project actually needs. It's a big reason names like First Financial Bank, the Abilene Philharmonic, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Community Foundation of Abilene keep coming back.

What Our Clients Say

The repeat work means more to us than any pitch we could write. But don't take our word for it — here's what the people we've worked with have to say.

What is video production?

It's a term people use a lot without pinning down. To us, video production is the whole process of bringing a story to the screen — planning it, filming it, and shaping it in the edit. It's more than pointing a camera. The real work is deciding what the video is for, who it's talking to, and making sure every shot and cut serves that. That thinking is behind everything on this page, whether it's a corporate brand story or a short film.

Common Questions

About video production

What does a video production company do?

The short version: we handle the whole thing so you don't have to piece it together yourself. Planning and script, the shoot with a real crew, and the full edit — sound, color, all of it. You bring the goal; we bring what it takes to hit it.

What's the difference between a videographer and a video production company?

People use the words like they mean the same thing. A videographer shows up and shoots. A video production company owns the whole story — the conversation, the plan, the crew, the filming, and everything in the edit. Both have their place; it just depends how much the video matters to you.

How do I choose the right video production company?

Watch their reel first — it'll tell you more than any pitch. Then notice whether they ask about your goals or just hand you a day rate. The right team cares why you're making the video, not just what it costs. And you should actually enjoy talking to them, because you'll be spending real time together.

What makes a good video?

A reason to exist. The best ones know exactly who they're for and what they want that person to feel or do — everything else serves that. A pretty video with no point is just expensive wallpaper.

Pricing

How much does video production cost?

Honestly, it varies more than people expect. Even two 30-second videos can take completely different amounts of planning, filming, and editing. That's why we don't use cookie-cutter pricing — we scope each project to what your vision actually needs, so you only pay for the work that goes into it.

Why don't you list prices on your site?

A fixed price list would mislead you. A one-day brand story and a three-day documentary aren't the same job, and pretending they are would overcharge the simple project or shortchange the big one. We'd rather learn what you're making, then give you a real number.

What affects the cost of a video?

Mostly how long the shoot is, how many locations, crew size, how much planning and scripting the story needs, and how deep the edit goes. We walk you through which of those your project actually calls for before you commit.

Is video worth the investment for a small business?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no — and we'll tell you which. One well-made video can work for years across your site, socials, and ads. But if a project won't earn its keep, you'll hear that from us before you spend a dollar.

Do you offer packages or ongoing video?

Mostly we scope to the project, but when someone needs video regularly — a monthly series, a batch of social pieces — we'll build a repeatable plan around it. One client started that way and ended up with around 50 social videos.

Process & timeline

How does the process work, start to finish?

Four stages: we listen, we plan, we produce, we finish. A real conversation about your goals, a clear plan you sign off on, a shoot with a crew we trust, and a full edit before anything reaches you. You'll always know what's happening and why.

How long does it take to make a video?

It depends on scope, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we promise is a realistic timeline up front and no corners cut to hit it — rushing is how quality quietly slips away. Most projects run a few weeks from first call to final cut.

How do we get started?

You send us a note about what you're working on. We talk it through, get to know your goals, and turn that into a plan. Nothing gets filmed until you know exactly what we're making and why.

Do we need a script or storyboard before we call?

Not even close. Most people come to us with a rough idea or a problem they're trying to solve. Shaping that into a story is literally the job.

How involved will we be?

As much or as little as you want. Some clients hand over the vision and step back until the premiere; others want eyes on every shot. Either way, we set expectations early so nobody's surprised.

Working with us

Do I own the final video?

Yes. The finished video is yours to use anywhere — website, social, ads, internal screens. We nail down formats and usage during planning so there's never any confusion.

Do you travel for projects?

Gladly. Cody's standing line is that he'd fly to Italy if someone paid him to. Tell us where the shoot is and we'll figure out how to get there

Do we need to be local to work with you?

Nope. Where you are has never decided whether a project's a fit — the story does that. We work with clients well beyond our own backyard.

What kinds of organizations do you work with?

Banks, nonprofits, law firms, and cultural groups make up a lot of it — First Financial Bank and the Abilene Philharmonic among them — plus fellow filmmakers and production companies on the film side.

Can you help if we're a nonprofit?

Absolutely — nonprofit storytelling is close to our heart. We've made fundraising and mission films for groups like Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Community Foundation of Abilene, helping them connect with the people they serve.

Want to understand how good video actually gets made before you commit? Our blog breaks it down — planning a shoot, what happens in the edit, how businesses use video to tell their story. Same thinking we bring to every project, shared openly.

Ready to tell your story? Let's talk.

Every project starts with a conversation — not a contract. Tell us what you're working on, and we'll get to know your goals before we ever talk timelines or budget. Whether you've got a fully-formed vision or just an idea you're chasing, we'd love to hear it. No pressure, no obligation.
Call, email, or send a note through the site — whatever's easiest. We'll set up a time to talk.
